Privacy Policy

Plain English summary: We collect your email to run your account. We don't sell your data. We use Cloudflare for infrastructure and Resend for transactional email. You can delete your account any time by emailing support@jakuu.ai.

1. Who We Are

JAKUU [寂空] ("JAKUU", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at www.jakuu.ai and the application at app.jakuu.ai. We provide AI-powered prediction market intelligence services. Questions about this policy: support@jakuu.ai.

2. Information We Collect

Account data: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you pay for Pro, your payment is processed by Stripe — we never store your card number or payment credentials.

Usage data: We may collect anonymous usage patterns (pages visited, features used) to improve the product. This is processed by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not build personal profiles.

Communications: If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence to respond to you.

What we do not collect: We do not collect your location, phone number, social media profiles, or any sensitive personal data. We do not run advertising trackers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, subscription receipts) via Resend
  • To send product updates and new signal alerts — only if you opt in
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • To improve our product using aggregated, anonymous analytics

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Infrastructure & Third Parties

JAKUU is built on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1 database). Your data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Stripe processes credit/debit card payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Resend delivers transactional emails. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for this purpose. See Resend's Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies & Analytics

JAKUU uses Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not set cookies, does not fingerprint users, and does not build personal profiles. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising network trackers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g. billing records for tax purposes, which are retained for 7 years).

7. Your Rights

Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction: You can update your email address and name from your account settings.

Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@jakuu.ai. We will process requests within 30 days.

Portability: You can request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

Objection: You can opt out of product update emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You have the above rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. Our legal basis for processing is contract performance (account) and legitimate interest (product improvement). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

8. Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to our database is restricted to authenticated worker requests. Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 with per-user salts. We do not store payment credentials.

No system is perfectly secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to support@jakuu.ai.

9. Children

JAKUU is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of JAKUU after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
