Cookie Policy

Short version: JAKUU uses minimal, privacy-friendly analytics (no advertising cookies). We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party ad trackers.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and help site owners understand how their site is used.

Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary — Authentication
When you log in to app.jakuu.ai, we store a session token in your browser's localStorage (not a traditional cookie). This token is required to authenticate your requests to our API. It is not accessible to third-party scripts and is removed when you log out. Without this, the app cannot function.

Analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, referrers, countries). Cloudflare Web Analytics does not set any cookies, does not use fingerprinting, and does not build personal profiles. It is fully privacy-compliant and requires no cookie consent banner. Session Recording — Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the site — including session recordings, heatmaps, and click patterns. Clarity may set cookies and collect behavioural data including mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and page interactions. This data is used solely to improve the site experience and is not shared with advertisers or used to build personal profiles. EU/EEA visitors: Microsoft Clarity may require consent under GDPR before setting cookies. By continuing to use JAKUU, you consent to Clarity's use of cookies as described. If you wish to opt out, you can disable cookies for clarity.ms in your browser settings or use a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.

What we do NOT use:

  • Google Analytics or any Google tracking
  • Facebook Pixel or any Meta tracking
  • Any advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking of any kind

Third-Party Services

JAKUU integrates with third-party services that may set their own cookies or collect data independently when you use or navigate to their services:

  • Stripe — when you make a payment, you interact with Stripe's hosted checkout, which may set its own cookies. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Telegram — if you click a Telegram link or join a JAKUU channel, Telegram's own cookie and data policies apply.
  • Whereby — if you access a Whereby video room through JAKUU, Whereby may set cookies. See Whereby's Privacy Policy.
  • Polymarket — links to Polymarket markets open Polymarket's own site, which has its own cookie and tracking policies.

JAKUU has no control over cookies set by third-party domains. All third-party cookies are governed exclusively by those parties' own policies.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the localStorage session token will prevent you from staying logged in to app.jakuu.ai but will not affect your ability to browse the public site at www.jakuu.ai.

Most modern browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies and localStorage data. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.

Do Not Track

We respect the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal. When DNT is enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics already operates without tracking, so no additional action is needed on our end.

Changes to This Policy

If we add new analytics tools or change how we use cookies, we will update this page and notify users via email if the change materially affects privacy.
